Senior Storage Solutions Architect

The Senior Storage Solutions Architect must be a team player who will be personally responsible for specifying and developing a lab support, growth, and maintenance strategy and configurations that effectively support all aspects professional services for key customers and system integration testing. Must be highly skilled to develop our integrated systems testing and interoperability test strategy, maintain initiator and target systems, pre-build complex customer configurations, and collaborate with other engineers to effectively define software and hardware configurations within our lab and with customer lab engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with others to develop and continually refine and tune our lab configurations and management for Storage Area Networks, Windows/Linux/Solaris operating systems, network, cluster, and host file-systems, drivers, firmware, and software
  • Define and build standard storage test configurations, high performance computing, web, switched digital video, and digital cable test configurations on-site or on customer premises
  • Build NAS test configurations integrating the V1000 as scalable SAN storage
  • Code, script, and verify tests related to lab configuration, status, and remote test and management interfaces
  • Maintain test equipment, analysis software, and third party test equipment working with our test equipment vendors as needed for system verification, software debug, and recreation of bugs in our labs
  • Build large scale VMware, Hyper-V VM systems and test
  • Document solution, write best practices and AppNote documentation
  • Provide field support for customer lab engagements
  • Experience running storage bencmarks like SPC-1,2,3 and performance test tools for Windows, Linux, and Solaris •Serve as primary contact of large scale installations and interoperability testing in our labs

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, and at least 7 years direct experience in system testing, systems software, lab IT, storage, and enterprise systems
  • Experience testing Windows and Linux platforms in storage deployments
  • Experience testing in Linux and Windows environments a must including scripting
  • Experience with storage performance and stress tests a plus
  • Experience with storage protocols like Fibre Channel, SAS/SATA and iSCSI a plus

SALES

Territory Sales Representative - NYC/NJ, Texas

The Territory Sales Rep (TSR) is responsible for generating new business to support revenue growth and profit for Atrato, and selling enterprise class data storage solutions into corporate Data Centers, Digital Media and Web 2.0 markets. The TSR is responsible for prospecting new accounts, developing business plans for major verticals in your territory, and identifying strategic routes to market. This position will also play a significant role in recruiting and developing a network of channel partners capable of integrating Atrato solutions into their portfolio of data center products. The TSR will qualify leads, develop strategies to manage accounts to closure, and maintain post sales support to enable repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in a direct sales role
  • Must have experience selling enterprise class data storage solutions,i.e. SAN/NAS primary disk, backup and/or archive solutions
  • Proven consultative selling skills
  • Demonstrated success as a "hunter" in a remote territory role
  • NY/NJ rep must have quick, easy access to the Manhattan area
  • Technical expertise which enables you to present highly complex storage solutions
  • 5+ years direct sales experience in the storage industry
  • Experience in a geographically distributed environment
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both as a member of a group and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel greater than 50% at times
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
