Atrato has developed the data Access Profiler to help IT professionals choose the configuration that will optimize performance based on their applications' unique data access patterns. The Access Profiler recommends the amount of SSD needed to achieve the highest level of performance possible, and provides a detailed report stating the expected increase in performance.

Atrato's V1000 with VxSSD is a unique hybrid approach that unites highly parallel hard disk drives (HDD) and emerging solid state disk (SSD) to improve the performance of high bandwidth applications, while ensuring low operational costs. An innovative hybrid vLUN manager allows customers to assign a combination of HDD and SSD to any application, when and where it's needed regardless of the physical location. Autonomic software identifies which tier the data belongs in, and automatically manages data between tiers; effectively taking the guesswork, and complexity out of tiered storage management.
